I have an fx 8350. I utilize core temp to monitor my temperatures. Cadre temp always said my tj max for the cpu was ninety Celsius. I upgraded my mobo yesterday merely am yet using the 8350. At present core temp says my tj max is fourscore Celsius. Does anyone accept an explanation of why core temp is showing a lower tj max?
Give thanks you lot community

You sir, take perfect and beatifully low temps. Which is very proficient.
Lets say the maximum temp your CPU tin can withstand is 100ºC. and your Temp right now is 50ºC THe TJ max is 50ºC. Because you are still 50ºC away from maximum temp. Let's say your temp is 20ºC the TJ max would exist 80ºC. Tj max changes as the temp changes. If the temperature goes down the TJ MAx goes up. And vice versa. It is basically the head room you have before reaching the maximum allowed temp.
Lets say that the ambience temperature is hotter this twenty-four hours than the twenty-four hour period that you saw the tj Max if the ambient temp is hotter, that will make the TJ max exist lower considering the cpu will heat up more...

tj max means, how much the temp is from the maximum temperature. Both those values are VERY skilful. What is your ambient temp btw?

My idle temps range from 18 to thirty celcius. Under full load benchmark examination with 100 percentage cpu usage it gets up to 55 Celsius. Simply what i actually want to know is Why did it say ninety tj max, but now its says 80 tj max with the new motherboard but notwithstanding using the aforementioned cpu.

Yous can even do a simple equation.
Temperature+Tj Max= Maximum Temperature (the cpu withstands)

I would recommend using AMD Overdrive to monitor temps. It will provide you lot with a thermal margin which is how much REMAINING temperature increment your CPU can stand up.

No,sir. Iam very sure u misundertand what Tj Max is really about. It''s non as what you''ve describe. Basically, TjMax is similar a par value that y'all ameliorate not to let your CPU temp to achieve this value as it may damage your CPU in long term, or perchance shorter.
If you use Real Temp, possibly you get dislocated with the term used in the application like "distance to TjMax"'. This term ways the gap of temperature between current CPU temp and Tj Max.
Tj Max is well described defined from a website as: "'TJ Max is the max temp of the processor, which you don't desire to achieve. The lower your temp, the meliorate information technology is. Consequently, the higher your distance to TJ Max is the meliorate it is."
FYI, Tj Max tin exist gear up in the BIOS of the MoBo. I personally lower the Tj Max past ten Celcius, to exist 90 Celcius for more precaution.
